This is the complete per-sport dataset the app runs on — every division limit, weigh-in timing, equipment allowance and re-weigh rule — each laid out beside the governing-body source it was taken from. Built for a combat-sports / weigh-in expert to check value-by-value and sign off.
Every sport block has the same shape, so you can move quickly:
Confidence pills: Verified = cross-checked against the governing body this session · By design = intentionally not a fixed table (see Muay Thai).
Three mechanics drive the cut plan regardless of sport. Confirm the logic here once; each sport block then only states its own values.
The rehydration window between weigh-in and competition sets a hard ceiling on fight-week water loss. The app maps timing to that cap:[8]
| Weigh-in timing | Example sports | Max fight-week water cut |
|---|---|---|
| Same day (morning of) | Amateur boxing, Wrestling, amateur Muay Thai | ~0% — must be all true weight |
| Within ~2 h | BJJ (gi & no-gi) | ~1% — minimal, conservative only |
| Day before (~24–32 h) | MMA, Taekwondo, Judo, pro boxing/MT | up to ~5%, bounded by the re-weigh cap |
Where the rules weigh the athlete in gear, the published limit is the clothed number, so the body must come in lighter by the gear weight. Underwear/singlet sports weigh closer to the body number.
| Sport | Weighed in | Allowance used |
|---|---|---|
| BJJ (gi) | The gi | 1.7 kg (inside the documented 1.5–2.5 kg gi range) |
| BJJ (no-gi) | Rashguard + shorts | 0.5 kg |
| Taekwondo | Dobok | 1.2 kg |
| Judo | Judogi | 1.2 kg |
| Boxing · MMA · Muay Thai · Wrestling | Underwear / singlet | none — body target ≈ limit |
Judo and Taekwondo hold an official weigh-in the day/evening before, then a random control on competition morning at which the athlete must be ≤ +5% of their category limit (weighed in gear). This caps how hard they may dehydrate.[4][5] All other sports have no re-weigh.

Division ladders, weigh-in rules and the re-weigh tolerances above are drawn from the following governing-body and peer-reviewed sources. Numbers in the sport blocks reference these by [n].
Cross-checked three ways for this report: the live engine values (fc-engine.jsx · FC_SPORTS), the project source-of-truth (Logic & Flows §17, already sourced), and an independent governing-body re-check this session. The verifier of this document is a design session, not a sanctioned official — these values still require sign-off by someone who runs these weigh-ins before a build relies on them.
